WeChat Bot

Coming soon. The WeChat bot is in preparation and will be available to early users shortly.

What It Does

WeChat is the entry point. No need to open a website or remember where to look.

Store: Send a screenshot to the OMIMA bot — it extracts the fields, asks for confirmation, and saves it to your account. SMS screenshots, app settings screens, registration email screenshots all work.

Query: Just ask:

What's my bank account password?

Show me my carrier service PIN

What's my child's school portal login?

The bot returns the answer directly. That's the whole point — you're stuck somewhere, you ask, you get the answer, you continue.

What it can't do:

Bulk export
Send proactive reminders (WeChat bot platform restriction — bots can't initiate conversations)

What About Security

You might wonder: is it safe to have passwords returned in a WeChat chat?

Two layers to consider:

Storage layer (OMIMA's responsibility): Your data is encrypted at rest and access-controlled. Even if the database were breached, an attacker would get ciphertext they can't decrypt. This is what OMIMA guards.

Channel layer (WeChat's responsibility): WeChat is Tencent's product with a full security team and legal accountability. Your daily communication already runs through WeChat — OMIMA joining doesn't make that less safe. When you choose WeChat as your entry point, you're already trusting Tencent.

OMIMA won't refuse to return your data just because the channel isn't ours to own. That's not security — that's an unusable product.

How to Connect

Once the feature launches:

Go to Account Settings in OMIMA and find "WeChat Bot"
Scan the QR code to authorize your WeChat account
Start messaging the OMIMA WeChat account

After binding, only requests from your WeChat ID can access your data. Disconnect at any time from settings — the bot loses all access immediately.

Privacy

Uses Tencent's official iLink API (ClawBot) — a legitimate, documented interface, not reverse-engineered
After binding, the bot identifies you by WeChat ID — unbound accounts cannot reach your data
Disconnect at any time
