Smart Search
The point of storing information is being able to find it instantly. OMIMA's search accepts natural language — ask whatever comes to mind, without figuring out the right keyword first.
How to Ask
Use the search bar at the top of any page. Type a question or a keyword.
Examples:
Which email do I use to log into my bank?Has my child's school portal password been changed recently? What's my carrier service PIN?Show me that commercial health insurance policy numberDo I have any education-related accounts? The SSH server passwordHow Search Works
OMIMA's search runs in two layers:
Layer 1 — Keyword matching
Fast search across unencrypted metadata: titles, tags, record types. Most everyday queries are resolved here, with no AI involved.
Layer 2 — Semantic understanding (when needed)
If keyword matching doesn't find a clear result, or your question is more complex, OMIMA calls an AI model to understand the intent and match it against your records.
Privacy and Search
Search matches against unencrypted metadata (titles, tags) — not field contents.
When you search "bank password," OMIMA finds the record titled "Bank of America Checking" without decrypting anything inside it. Only when you open the record and view a specific field does decryption happen.
Decryption happens only when you actively open a record.
If Nothing Comes Up
If OMIMA says "no records found," it means:
- The information hasn't been added yet, or
- The wording in the record title differs significantly from your question — try rephrasing
OMIMA does not fabricate records or invent answers. No result means no result.
WeChat (Coming Soon)
Once the WeChat bot launches, you'll be able to query your records directly from a WeChat message — no need to open the app.
Sensitive field values still require you to open OMIMA to view them. The bot won't return plaintext passwords through a WeChat message.
